If you're using Pinterest for sales, make sure your product feed is up-to-date. Your product feed, also known as a data feed, influences product Pins, shopping ads, and how your content is recommended. It affects your brand's visibility with key details on Pins. Give your feed a tune-up for optimal performance by focusing on metadata, product organization, and targeting, according to these helpful e-commerce tips from Pinterest.

Weekly Pinterest Predicts

​Pinterest Predicts Weekly – the latest search trends and insights around the theme of fresh starts and ‘embracing a new era’. How do you use these in your marketing? Mine them for keywords, future trends, and ideas for blog posts. Click on the keyword and it will take you to trends. But I would also suggest looking on Pinterest and putting those keywords into the search bar, to see what the images look like and what seems to be trending there.

Take 1 hour and investigate and make notes. Set a goal of walking away with at least 3 blog post ideas and 5 new keywords to use in your description.

People look different, here's how Pinterest helps you find you

I don't know about you but when I look for makeup tutorials or hair tutorials I always find myself coming across ideas that are not built for me. I have hooded eyes so when I see an eye makeup tutorial that looks amazing I usually notice they do not have hooded eyes. I walk away a little defeated. It's the same if you're not the same size as someone or if your skin tone is not the same. I appreciate this recent article written by Sabrina Ellis, Chief Product Officer at Pinterest about how Pinterest is building a more human internet with AI.

This Week's Simple Pin Podcast

I took a little liberty here and had Chat GPT tell me what a Pinterest ad was but explain it to a high school student.

Kind of funny given I have two high schoolers living in my house. In today's podcast, I'm sharing some of the ways it explained it to me.

Here's why... sometimes we overthink things and just need to get back to basics. There is a ton of talk about ads these days so let's have some fun.
